Before settling in Austin, TX, Tyler refined his expertise at Havana Lounge and Cigar in West Allis and Lake Country Cigars in Delafield, Wisconsin. Over the past seven years, he’s spent significant time in Nicaragua, learning directly from some of the most respected names in the cigar industry.
Tyler attributes the creation of The 555 to the invaluable mentorship he received from Skip Martin and Michael Rosales of RoMa Craft Tobac. He also extends sincere gratitude to Oliva Tobacco, especially Angel Oliva III and Gustavo Cura, for their unwavering support and guidance.
Breaking from the direct-to-consumer model of his debut release, Tyler is now making The 555 available through select cigar retailers nationwide.
“This cigar was crafted to be enjoyed by as many enthusiasts as possible,” Tyler shared. “Partnering with top retailers across the country felt like the natural next step in spreading our passion.”
Once again, production is in the trusted hands of Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua—a factory celebrated for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and community. The blend was developed collaboratively by Tyler Jeffery and Alex Nowogrodzka.
This release is particularly meaningful for Tyler, who played a direct role in sourcing a key filler leaf that helped shape the cigar’s final character.
