The new HVC Edición Especial 2015 gets more ornate packaging and the cigars will be box-pressed, a change from the previous round format. Blend-wise, it remains a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua, though the company says it has slightly changed the recipe to accommodate the soft press.
“This evolution reflects our dedication to craftsmanship, innovation and the ever-evolving preferences of our customers,” said Reinier Lorenzo, founder of HVC Cigars, in a press release. “And what a better way to celebrate (the) 10 year anniversary of HVC Edición Especial 2015.” (Halfwheel)
