The Diesel brand is launching a new limited-edition cigar that gets its name from the world of barbecue.
It’s the Diesel Backyard Barbecue Series Pulled Pork, a 5 x 56 robusto gordo that uses a habano rosado wrapper of undisclosed origin, a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa, and fillers from Honduras’s Jamastran region and the Esteli and Condega regions of Nicaragua.
The blend was designed to be a spin on North Carolina barbecue, with a press release saying that it boasts earthy notes of charred wood and hazelnut.
The cigars are made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. and come priced at $7.49 per cigar. They are offered in 10-count boxes, with production limited to just 2,000 of those boxes.
