As Rojas Cigars approaches their 10th anniversary, the company has tapped into a popular food item over recent years, street tacos for this release. One of the meats featured in a Street Taco is barbacoa which is either beef of lamb and this first release is named after that.
The Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa stand out on the shelf with a green box and orange bands. This medium to medium-plus bodied cigar features a toothy and oily looking Ecuador Sumatra wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The filler features tobacco grown in the Somoto region of Nicaragua right on the Honduran border. This particular tobacco gives the Street Tacos their signature creamy flavor profile.
The self-proclaimed Kings of Small Ring Gauges, Noel Rojas offers this cigars in three sizes with none being over a 50 ring gauge.
