The Sobremesa brand has a rich history intertwined with Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, dating back to 2015 when it marked Steve's comeback to the cigar industry. Following its success, Steve introduced the Brulee, a Connecticut Shade variation of Sobremesa that delivered a timeless Connecticut experience.
Building on this success, Steve unveiled the highly coveted Brulee Blue, produced in limited quantities. This blend was meticulously crafted to emulate one of Saka's favorite smoking experiences: a mid-1980s Cuban-made Davidoff Dom Perignon.
Now, the latest chapter in the Sobremesa saga unfolds with Wagashi. Derived from a modified version of the Brulee Blue line, originally intended to be a larger vitola, Wagashi takes on a unique character. Saka's innovation led to a trunk-pressed 6"x50 Toro, expertly crafted at the Joya de Nicaragua factory.
When you ignite this blend, you'll encounter a harmonious blend of flavors, including notes of almonds, coffee, caramel, and sweet cream. In Steve's own words, “The bar established by our Blue is extremely high, but I believe the Wagashi rivals it in both flavor and aroma, while also being unique with its own distinct character.” Experience the next exciting chapter in the Sobremesa story with Wagashi.
